Trickster based critical builds are one of the strongest archetypes in this game that most people don't think about. Properly equipped, a trickster based critical build will do about 8 times more damage per attack compared to a baseline character (a "regular" critical build only has about 4 times more damage). The obvious two are full divine caster Angel and full arcane caster/gish Lich, with Oracle and Sorcerer being considered 'the best' respectively (though with the new merge mechanic that might not be the case anymore.
